The House of Kabab Story
In the fall of 1978
, founders John and Mary Loussararian opened House Of Kabab with a dream of serving up Authentic Armenian and Middle Eastern Cuisine. The plan was simple. Mary would manage the back of the house, while John developed the clientele by personally interacting with the customers.
That year, Jimmy Carter was President; the #1 song of the land was “How Deep is Your Love" by the Bee Gees; and the hottest culinary delights were being served up in this small, yet promising Montebello eatery.
House Of Kabab is popular with a large audience including families, children, seniors and business professionals. Our friendly environment is ideal for celebrating special occasions, hosting a business lunch or gathering for a delicious meal with friends and family. Open daily for lunch and dinner, House Of Kabab offers a selection of freshly prepared items using only the finest ingredients available. Favorites include Shish Kabab, Loula Kabab, and Chicken Kabab, specialty salads, and a wide variety of appetizers such as Hummus, Grape Leaves, Tabouleh and more. Additionally, we serve domestic and international beer and wine.
